IREC (International Renewable Energy Certificate) is an international certificate corresponding to electrical energy produced from renewable sources. 1 IREC certificate corresponds to 1 MWh of renewable energy production. This certificate includes information such as the name of the electricity producing facility, production date, source type and encourages energy producers to invest in renewable energy.

How Does the IREC Certification System Work?
